This Clinical Exemplar is a story about a patient that really left their mark on me. It talks about my interactions with them and how it was one of those few life-changing moments where I realized the impact that I had on this patient, and how special it was for me. It was truly an eye-opening moment for me, when I again realized that being an RN is not just a job for me, it’s a calling and a passion. If I can do for all of my patients what I accomplished with this patient, then I can truly say that I’ve done my job to the absolute best of my ability and am a better person for it.
