ATI Nursing Care of Children Adaptive Quiz Reflection

ATI Nursing Care of Children Adaptive Quiz Reflection

Reflecting on my experience taking the ATI Nursing Care of Children (Pediatrics) Adaptive Quiz, I’d say I was pleasantly surprised with the results. I scored well on percentage correct as well as demonstrated very good proficiency scoring in the 80th percentile. With the total number of questions I took, it was the longest quiz I’ve ever taken. I began to be deterred by this and thought I was getting a lot of questions incorrect as a result. However, I was proven wrong when reviewing all of my answers. My average time per question is definitely something that I know I could’ve increased if I was more proactive about taking breaks and not getting in my head about how many questions I was up to. It is certainly something that I will be actively aware of for next time. I will also be much more conscious about taking frequent breaks even if my question count is getting high. I think I was determined to finish and didn’t want to take away any time. However, looking back, I realize total time is not a big deal and taking my time is not a bad thing to do. Moving forward into the Comprehensive Predictor B Practice Assessment, I look forward to seeing how all of the previous assessments have prepared me as well as the reflections I’ve taken after each in an effort to do better.
