ATI Pharmacology Practice Assessment A Reflection
Reflecting on my experience taking the ATI Pharmacology Practice Assessment A, I’d say a lot of things went well. First off, I was confident going into this exam because I had previously taken the pharmacology adaptive quiz and that went very well for me. I ensured that I used tactics I’ve taught myself through the adaptive quizzes, such as utilizing a timer while taking my exam to keep track of my time. I’ll admit, I definitely could have spent more time on each question. However, on some questions, I really was just taking an educated guess because I was not sure of the answer, so I didn’t bother spending much time on these questions. On questions which just gave me the medication and asked a question I feel I struggled on the most if I was not familiar with the medication. Questions giving me the medication and reason for prescription (diagnosis) I felt confident with because I had more puzzle pieces I could fit together. Overall, I’d say the quiz went well, scoring over an 80%. Taking more time on questions still remains a top priority for me and I will get that number up!
