Revision Strategy for Multimodal Essay

Revision Strategy for Multimodal Essay

My goal for this paper is quite simple. I want to convey what I believe to be the definition of true beauty and what exactly that encompasses. The steps I plan to take to achieve this is by making sure my own story is included in the larger one. Readers can relate better when the writer gets personal. I also want to include examples of things society deems important as that is what the reader is most likely going to be familiar with. If I start to talk about something unfamiliar, then my point is not going to be conveyed well. Lastly, I plan to make sure that this paper is easy to understand. Through pictures and videos and spatial awareness, I want to make sure my reader knows exactly my feelings on the topic without much doubt. What I see as my biggest challenge in this essay is going to be how to get across my point effectively. This is a very hard topic to write about, and making sure readers see what I see if the hardest part. While I’m not asking them to agree with me, they can totally disagree, it’s hard to get humans to see other points of views that are different from their own. Should this problem be too much for me on my own, resources I have available are my peers and professor. My peers are bound to have differing opinions on this topic, so it will be nice to hear about their thoughts on how I’m approaching the topic. Lastly, my professor is a huge resource in all this, she can help me work through where in the paper I need to improve and make my point more clear and come across less aggressive, should that be the case. They are the ones that can tell me when I might have gone too far and might start to lose the reader.

  1. Aaron, your statement that “it’s hard to get humans to see other points of views that are different from their own” couldn’t be more true, but it’s a nobel goal to pursue.

    Keep up the good work.
